How It Works

Curious Society is a book club for people who love exploring the world through reading. We read both fiction and non-fiction, diving each month into titles that span diverse subjects — from economics, business, and politics to history, religion, science, feminism, and philosophy.

We meet on the last Friday of every month at a cozy dining spot in Amsterdam, creating space for both convenience and connection.

The format is simple: members suggest books, we vote, and the winning title becomes our next collective read.

Curious Society was founded as a place to learn, challenge ideas, be challenged, and think bigger. Expect thought-provoking conversations, fresh perspectives, and a community that values curiosity just as much as the books themselves.

We can’t wait to welcome you into the discussion.

  • Join us by submitting the membership form.

  • Each month, members vote on a shortlist of 2-3 inspiring books—both fiction and non-fiction—centered around a common theme. From these, we select two titles to read and discuss throughout the month, fostering variety, depth, and shared discovery in every cycle.

  • You will be invited to our monthly in-person or virtual event.

Join us online or in Amsterdam on the last Friday of the month.
